The party's radical youth organization such as the “center ideal” organization is one of the main organizers of the demonstrations by citing the Turkish media reports. Another reason is closely related to Turkey’s recent political situation. The elections in Turkey on June 7, ended the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)’s one-party dominance since 2002.
