The 7th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum has wrapped up in Doha. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Arab League Secretary-General and Qatar's foreign minister after the event and emphasized the fruitful results.

(Xinhua/Meng Tao) Wang said China and Arab countries agreed to promote connectivity, capacity cooperation and cultural exchanges as three pillars to further advance the Belt and Road Initiative. China will ensure the implementation of a Middle East special loan to help promote industrialization in the region. China is ready to receive 600 Arab political party leaders this year and will also invite 60 religious leaders and provide training and scholarship positions to further boost ties. At the forum, Arab countries reaffirmed their support for China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. They also said they appreciated China's adherence to peaceful means in settling disputes concerning the South China Sea.
