An Iranian newspaper has published an article written by Chinese
President Xi Jinping ahead of his official state visit from January 22nd
to 23rd. In the article, Xi calls for better cooperation and closer
ties with Iran.
Xi wrote that he will exchange views with his Iranian counterpart on
international and regional affairs, and advance bilateral relations. He
said Under the "Belt and Road" framework, both countries can enhance
their political trust and share the development.
Xi said that he wishes that China and Iran can work together on a
transportation network that helps to connect eastern and western Asia,
expand cooperation on energy and industries, and enhance communications
in a variety of fields.
