In 2011 SIGNAL and Shanghai Jiaotong University's school of
International and Public Relations established The Center for
Contemporary Sino-Israeli Studies, the first Sino-Israeli research
center in the world. In 2013, Tel Aviv University took on the center as
part of a wider university cooperation with SJTU, renaming it the
TAU-SJTU Israel Center.

                                    SIGNAL congratulates Tel Aviv
University (TAU) for its growing awareness of the importance of the
China-Israel track as shown by their agreement with SJTU in Shanghai and
with Tsinghua University in Beijing where they are jointly developing a
center for the study of nano-technology and other applied sciences.
