Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission Fan Changlong on
Monday met with Bulent Bostanoglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval
Forces.
Hailing the healthy and stable development of the China-Turkey
relationship since the two nations forged diplomatic ties 43 years ago,
Fan said China attaches high importance to military-to-military
relations with Turkey.
China is ready to further enhance defense cooperation with Turkey in
various areas including exchanges between naval forces, Fan said.
He also praised Turkey's adherence to the one-China policy and
support to China on counter-terrorism, expressing the hope that Turkey
could continue to support China on issues concerning sovereignty and
territorial integrity.
